Eli Thacker Taylor
Eli Taylor is a director/educator currently residing in Brooklyn. Having directed a staged reading of Jona Tarlin‘s, Do You Have a Backup?, last fall, he is excited to be able to collaborate with Tarlin for a second time. He is also in the process of directing Charlie Gershman’s one-act, Shooting Abe, for the Frigid Festival having directed Gershman’s full-length, Milk for Mrs. Stone, for the NYC Fringe Festival this past summer. Previous directing projects include: Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew, Moliere’s A Doctor in Spite of Himself in Prospect Park, and The Private Ear Radio Hour, which performed live radio plays at the Brooklyn Lyceum. He has assisted directors at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and Profile Theatre (Portland, OR). He is currently a member of The Gage Players, guitarist/vocalist for the acoustic folk-rock band, Ibex and is a proud alumnus of Sarah Lawrence College.
