Ivy Elrod is an actress, dancer, writer, mother. She is a founding member of the NYC theater company PARTIAL COMFORT PRODUCTIONS. She holds a BA from Columbia University in English Literature and Playwriting, and is the author of the full length plays Mestiza and The Sham, in addition to several one-acts. She is also a published poet and essayist. Training: Alvin Ailey, William Esper Studio, Maggie Flanigan, Public Theater Shakespeare Lab. Ivy was once a Radio City Rockette and hopes you’ll read the book she’s writing about it. She currently dances with The Stanley Love Performance Group, and recently starred in the feature film Wallabout due out in 2013.
